__WHAT IS CVSA BRAKE SAFETY WEEK?

__CVSA Brake Safety Week __is a part of __Operation Airbrake’s __campaign towards improving commercial vehicle brake safety throughout North America. The purpose is to promote brake-safety awareness and outreach opportunities, perform brake-related inspections, and conduct violation data collection.

OPERATION SAFE DRIVER WEEK 2024: HOW TO STAY SAFE ON THE ROAD

• __Brake-related violations comprise the largest percentage of all out-of-service vehicle violations cited during roadside inspections.
• __Six out of the top 20 vehicle violations were brake related.
• __Last year’s CVSA International Roadcheck found that 25.2% of all vehicle out-of-service violations were brake-system related.

__WHAT TO EXPECT
